Release "2024060401" plus "2024052901" – What's new?
In a nutshell:
- New monitoring plugins for Icinga, Nagios and compatible systems: dhcp-relayed checks the pool capacity of a DHCP server, mysql-query alerts on self-defined queries, and two new check plugins check Composer and Mediawiki for EOL.
- disk-io, librenms-alerts and librenms-health have been rewritten from scratch.
- About-me detects software that is not part of the original RHEL.
- Many check plugins have been given new, uniform parameters – especially those that communicate over networks.
- In the Icinga Director, we have removed all predefined "Journald Query" services, because they were more of a hindrance than a help. It makes more sense to define individual services for Journald.
- The plugins can now also be installed via a .deb package on Ubuntu 24.04.
